Maintenance Free Bearings




Application:
D-Glide sphericals are spherical bearings made both ito international standards as well as
designed for special purposes. They consist of a D-glide 'sphere' fitted with a stainless
steel sleeve which together form the inner part that moves inside a stainless steel housing.
Because of the combination of materials used they are maintenance free, as well as
corrosion free and can be used dry as well as submerged in (sea) water and almost all
other fluids. Load ratings are on a similar level to steel-on-steel or other maintenance free
bearings. Typical applications are hydraulic cylinders, [sluice] doors, draw-bridges.
